About KR

Katie Reisert is an independent communications strategist and the founder of KRcommunications. She is currently the Director of Communications for Union Square Hospitality Group.

Katie spent over six years at the award-winning marketing and public relations agency Bullfrog + Baum, where she grew from an account coordinator to the agency’s senior account director overseeing a portfolio of culinary clients that included Chef Bobby Flay, Sotheby’s Wine, L’Artusi, Vetri Cucina and PALMS Casino Resort, among many others.

Since launching KRcommunications in early 2020, Katie has represented some of the hospitality world’s most respected brands, from high-profile restaurant openings to product launches, cookbook releases and committed nonprofits. Katie is passionate about crafting communications campaigns that have an impact, designed to meet your unique goals. With over a decade of experience in the restaurant, wine/spirits, travel and CPG space, Katie understands the unique needs of the industry and is a true partner in all of the projects she takes on.

Katie is a graduate of NYU’s Steinhardt School and holds a Level II diploma from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust. She is also deeply involved in culinary charities including The Brownsville Community Culinary Center and Billion Oyster Project.
